Other News

Other news...
~Philip is enjoying his new job. They are teaching him various new machines every couple of days. The people he works with are very nice and friendly. Also, we have reeped benefits from the new company....he received his first bonus check already and we got to enjoy the company's Astros seats! We got to take a couple from our Home Team to the game and had a blast!
~I am getting lots of over time at work. It's hard, but the checks are nice. Also, I have stopped looking for other opportunities, I feel I'm where I'm supposed to be right now!
~The dogs are crazy as always. The boys got to play in the sprinkler for the first time this year and broke it already! But it was priceless to watch!

More later!!

Visit from Josh and Leslie

Well Philip and I have spent the last few days with his brother Josh and his fiance Leslie. They flew in from Colorado for a wedding shower. We had a great time hanging out and meeting the boys' childhood neighbors at the shower. Also, Bev (the mom-in-law) took Leslie and I shopping on Friday and we had a great girls' day out followed by dinner at Pappasito's! Today, we took them to our church and out to Freebirds for lunch then took some crazy pics at Greenway Plaza! (Hope to post those soon!) We love spending time with them and can't wait for the wedding in Colorado!

Celebrating our 1 year anniversary with Philip's parents at McCormick & Schmick's!!! Yummy!

We're Alive!

Well...it's been awhile, life is busy....but we're alive and well. We celebrated a year of marriage in March. So far our second year is better than the first. We've attended other weddings....Steven and Heather Metcalf and Jacque and Martin Renneberg. And we have other weddings coming up later in the year, including Philip's brother Josh's wedding in July. The dogs are all big and happy....the boys are full grown but act like puppies still. I'm still at Texas Children's Hospital and absolutely love my patients, but Philip has changed jobs again. He's now doing machine work at a small company called Venture Products. We've been busy with things at River Pointe Church. Philip joined the Youth Group on a mission trip to Mexico over spring break and really enjoyed himself. I went on a retreat with the high schoolers and learned a lot. And we still hang out with our Home Team members a lot. More to come later....Ran
